2) What does biotic mean? Can you find biotic factors in an ecosystem?

3) What does abiotic mean? Can you find abiotic factors in an ecosystem?

4) What is the difference between a line graph and a bar graph?

5) What is photosynthesis? What goes "in"? What goes "out"? Who uses photosynthesis? Where does photosynthesis happen?

6) What is cellular respiration? What goes "in"? What goes "out"? Who uses cellular respiration? Where does cellular respiration happen?

Notebooks collected this week are:

Plastic Bottles and New Notebooks Needed

Hi Students!

Just a reminder to bring in three 2-liter bottles by Wednesday, October 3!! We will need them to do our environmental science project of "world in a bottle." Remember to rinse them out with warm water only! If you wash them out with soap, the soap will kill the organisms that will live in your bottles!

Also, you need a new science notebook starting next week, the week of Oct. 1! We are done with our scientific method unit and will start environmental science!
